MadRabbit Touch ANC Headphones: The Perfect Solution for a Noisy World

We live in a world most of our actions are influenced by external pressure. All the noise in the air blinds us from making the right decision. We seek to shut out the chaos and follow our madness that will lead us to achieve our goals. The first practical solution to achieving this is eliminating unwanted surrounding noise.

Active noise cancellation (ANC) technology comes into the picture here. The technology works by using microphones to detect external noise and then creating inverse sound waves to cancel it out. With a clear mind, we get the space to think rationally and take decisions more clearly. This is why ANC is highly significant in the present era.

ANC is usually regarded as a very modern invention by the public; however, it has been around in one form or another for over 80 years.

1936 - Paul Lueg came up with a noise-control system that worked by inverting the polarity of sounds and playing them back to cancel out any unnecessary background sounds.

1950 - Lawrence Fogel designed ANC tech to cancel out background noise in the cockpits of helicopters and planes.

1957 - Willard Meeker created a working model of how active noise control could be used on headphones.

1986 – The first working prototype of active noise-canceling headsets came into existence

ANC technology eventually began to advance rapidly, and it was found in headphones, earbuds, speakers, and neckbands. The technology has seen a surge in popularity in the Indian market in recent years, and it has become a crucial feature in many consumer electronics. The increasing demand for audio-based devices with ANC technology is a result of the fast-paced and noisy lifestyle of Indians. Whether it's the bustling streets of a metropolis, the loud engines of a train, or the chatter of a busy coffee shop, ANC technology helps users block out external noise and fully focus.

Our QA engineers were quick to recognize the potential of this technology and proposed making it the default in our product line.

ANC technology can be distinguished into three types based on the position of the microphone.

  1. Feedforward ANC: Microphone outside the speaker
  2. Feedback ANC: Microphone inside the speaker
  3. Hybrid ANC: Microphone inside and outside the speaker

Among these, we chose the advanced typology, Hybrid ANC, for our product due to its "best of both worlds" functions, resulting in uncompromised audio gear to make our users content. Additionally, we have focused on the essential factors such as battery life, sound quality, and comfort while crafting MadRabbit hearables.

The only disadvantage widely spoken of among tech savvies is that Hybrid ANC touches the pricey section when it comes to cost. This is where we bring into play our very own Touch ANC headphones, embedded with Hybrid ANC and unbeatable features, and the best part is their affordability.

MadRabbit's other ANC-based products include the Soul Earbuds Pro, a TWS with a variety of functions and an exclusive ANC mode. In their price range, the earbuds provide favourable value.

We are proud to say that our R&D team has provided the best technology and product ergonomics through their thorough and tireless research. Moreover, they are consistently working on more exciting tech, like spatial audio, which we will confidently reveal soon. So, stay tuned!
